USMO’s Kenji So wins Photojournalism at Tiniglaya

UMak Student Multimedia Organization representative and Institute of Arts and Design student Kenji So secured 3rd place in the Photojournalism category of the Tiniglaya Interschool Press Conference held in San Beda College Alabang last February 21, 2025.

Student media representatives from various schools in Metro Manila and Cavite, including UMak’s Kyd Llandelar, Shawn Caliboso, and Mica Rivero, participated in the News Writing, Feature Writing, and Photojournalism categories for senior high school and tertiary students.

The Bedan Herald adviser gave a talk on effective news writing during the press conference. The session emphasized how crucial it is for reporters to fully comprehend the audience and context of the event to craft intelligent, pertinent questions
